Thank you for using pTimeJob (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by SingularX Inc. These Terms of Service constitute an agreement between the company and users regarding the use of the service. The term "users" refers to all individuals, businesses, and organizations who agree to these terms and install and use the service. Users must agree to these Terms of Service to use the service.
Introduction and Usage of the Service
- This service is a platform that provides part-time job matching services between employers and job seekers. The company provides this service optimized for various operating systems and devices. We offer monthly and annual subscription services.
- This service can be used anytime and anywhere without limitations on time and space, within the legal scope defined by law.
- This service is categorized as 'Monthly Subscription Service' and 'Annual Subscription Service' depending on the subscription method.
- Users consist of registered members according to these terms, mainly divided into employer and job seeker user types. Non-members have limited access to the entire service.
- The company strives to provide the service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption. However, service may be suspended in cases of regular system maintenance, expansion, replacement, national emergencies, power outages, service facility failures, or other undesirable situations.
- In the event of service interruption as mentioned above, the company will endeavor to notify users through appropriate methods such as posting on the service screen. However, if notification is impossible due to circumstances beyond the company's control (failures or system downtimes without the company's intention or negligence), the company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users.
- The company may modify the service or delete parts of its content at any time.
Scope of Service Usage
- Users may use the service within a limited scope.
- For subscription services, users can access the service after payment is completed.
Membership Application
- Regardless of membership status, a user's use of the company's service implies agreement to these Terms of Service and constitutes a service usage contract with the company.
- Anyone 15 years or older can register as a member. Users who wish to become members must fill in the registration form provided by the company and indicate their agreement to these Terms of Service.
- For users under 14 years of age, consent from parents or legal guardians is additionally required for membership registration.
Acceptance of Membership Application
- The company accepts membership applications and provides user accounts to users who agree to these terms, privacy policies, and complete essential registration procedures such as email verification. However, for applicants under 14 years of age, membership application will only be accepted with the consent of parents or legal guardians.
- The company may refuse membership applications for the following reasons:
- If the applicant is a user whose account was deleted due to violation of member obligations specified in these terms and is reapplying
- If a member reapplies with the same email address within 6 months after membership withdrawal
- If the application is made using another person's information
- If the application is made using an email address that already has a service account
- If the application is made for purposes that disturb public order, morality, or ethics
- If the service usage constitutes or is likely to constitute a significant risk of violation of laws outside South Korea that have effect in the user's place of residence
- Other cases where the application is confirmed to be in violation of these terms or illegal or improper
- The company may reserve acceptance of a membership application for the following reasons. In such cases, the company will notify the applicant about the reason for reservation, possible acceptance time, or additional information needed for acceptance through the service screen or email.
- If the service environment does not meet the company's requirements or if service provision is technically impossible
- Other cases deemed necessary by the company based on reasonable judgment
Account Management
- This service supports only one account per email address.
- An account can only be used by the member who owns it, and under no circumstances should a member allow others to use their account.
- Members must directly manage their ID and password to prevent unauthorized use of their account, and all management responsibilities lie with the member. However, this does not apply in cases of the company's intention or negligence.
- If members discover unauthorized use of their ID, they must immediately notify the company and follow the company's guidance.
- In the case of paragraph 4, the company is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from the member's failure to notify the company or follow the company's guidance after notification.
- The company considers a user to be a member without additional verification procedures if the account and password registered by the user match those registered with the company.
- Members must update their information directly through the service or request updates via email or customer service when there are changes to the information provided at the time of service application, and must maintain the most current information. The company is not responsible for disadvantages resulting from failure to update information.
- When notified of changes by a member in accordance with paragraph 7, the company promptly updates the personal information accordingly.
- The company will compensate for any damages incurred by members due to the company's failure to fulfill the obligations specified in paragraph 8. However, this does not apply if the company proves that it was not intentional or negligent.
Withdrawal and Compensation
- If normal use of paid services is impossible due to the company's intention or gross negligence, the company will compensate users with the monetary value equivalent to the period of unavailability upon request.
- If users request subscription withdrawal within 7 days of purchasing a paid service without using it, the company will provide a full refund.
- The refund policy for cases where users have used the paid service or more than 7 days have passed since the service was provided is as follows:
- Based on the basic amount (list price) of the subscription service, a refund will be provided by deducting the amount calculated on a daily basis from the purchase date to the cancellation date (daily rate = monthly rate/30) from the balance, minus a 10% cancellation fee. The specific calculation formula is as follows:
- Monthly payment refund amount = [Payment amount (actual amount paid) - (Daily rate × Number of days used)] × 0.9
- Annual payment refund amount = [Payment amount (actual amount paid) - (Monthly rate × Number of months used (rounded up))] × 0.9
Member Obligations and Sanctions for Violations
- Members must not engage in the following behaviors:
- Registering as a member using someone else's or false personal information
- Using the service by impersonating others or entrusting their account information to others
- Interfering with other members' use of the service or threatening electronic transaction order
- Other actions that violate these terms or laws
- In case of the occurrence of any of the causes in paragraph 1, the company may terminate the usage contract with the relevant member without prior notice, permanently revoke membership, and prevent re-registration.
- In case of the occurrence of any of the causes in paragraph 1 or Article 11, the company may impose restrictions on service use instead of terminating the contract.
Member Withdrawal
- Members can request membership withdrawal at any time through the menu provided in the service or the customer center, and the company will process the withdrawal in accordance with the law.
- In case of membership withdrawal, the company will delete the member's information except in cases where the company retains information in accordance with laws and privacy policies.
- Even after membership withdrawal, members can reapply for membership to the company.
Company Responsibility and Exemption
- The service provided by the company is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, the company disclaims all express and implied warranties related to anything not specified in these terms, including but not limited to the following:
- That the service will meet users' requirements, be continuously available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- That results obtained from using the service will be effective, accurate, or reliable
- That the quality of the service will meet users' expectations
- That errors or defects in the service will be corrected
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the company is not responsible for the following matters in the absence of intention or gross negligence:
- Physical injury caused by accessing or using the service
- Damages caused by illegal access to or use of the company's servers by third parties
- Damages caused by third parties interfering with transmissions to or from the company's servers
- Damages caused by third parties transmitting or distributing malicious programs
- Damages caused by omission, deletion, or destruction of transmitted data
- All indirect, special, consequential, disciplinary, or punitive damages that are normally unforeseeable or arise from special circumstances, to the extent permitted by law
- Damages caused by inability to provide the service due to force majeure such as natural disasters
- Damages arising from problems with service use due to the user's intention or negligence
Company Rights
- The company grants users a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to use the service in accordance with these terms. All rights (ownership and intellectual property rights) to the service and related documents belong to the company. The installation or use of the service does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights from the company to users, and the licensing of usage rights under these terms is not interpreted as a transfer or sale of ownership or intellectual property rights to the service.
- This service is protected by copyright law, other intellectual property laws, and international copyright conventions. Users take full responsibility for any problems arising from illegal or improper use of the service and its content. These terms do not grant or guarantee users any usage rights to the service content.
- The company reserves the right to change or discontinue features or functions of the service to improve its quality. The company may also provide all or part of the service differently to each user according to conditions set by the company.
Termination of Contract
- Users may terminate the service usage contract at any time. However, users remain responsible for any problems arising from illegal or improper use of the service even after contract termination.
- The company may terminate a user's right to use the service at any time if the user violates provisions of these terms and does not correct the violation after notification, if the company cannot provide the service according to law, or if the company chooses to discontinue all or part of the service. This is considered a termination of contract.
Scope of Use, Governing Law, and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service were originally written in Korean, and disputes arising between the company and users regarding service use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Jurisdiction for all legal disputes related to these terms and service usage rights is determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
Notification to the Company
The company values users' opinions. Users can provide feedback at any time through the company's customer response email vrew-terms@voyagerx.com.
Changes to the Terms
- The company may revise these terms to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws such as the "Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions."
- When the company revises the terms, it will specify the effective date and reasons for revision and post them along with the current terms on the initial screen of the service site or program execution screen from 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to users or significant changes) until the day before the effective date.
- If the company notifies users of the revised terms as per the previous paragraph and clearly informs users that failure to express their intention within 30 days will be considered as expression of intention, and users do not explicitly express their refusal, users are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.
- If users explicitly express their intention not to agree to the application of the revised terms, the company cannot apply the content of the revised terms, and in this case, users may terminate the usage contract. However, if applying the existing terms is technically or commercially difficult, the company may terminate the service usage contract.
Miscellaneous
If users do not comply with these terms, the company's failure to take immediate action shall not be considered a waiver of the company's rights. If any provision of these terms becomes unenforceable, it shall not be deemed to affect other provisions.
Privacy Protection
Personal information collected by the company through the use of this service is used only within the purpose and scope agreed upon by users, and the company safely manages such personal information in accordance with privacy-related laws. The company's policies and efforts regarding privacy protection can be found in the service's Privacy Policy.
